International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) is science competitions for students under 16-year-of age about 300 students take part from different countries to explore the pathways in the field of science by discovering innovations in every competition year.

International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) was established to promote interest in science among school students, revealing them to problem solving, critical thinking and experimentation.

Pakistan became member of International Junior Science Olympiad ‘ISJO’ in the year 2016 and since then the Pakistani students have won bronze medals at 14th International Junior Science Olympiad competition and other awards regardless of proper training, lab and other facilities.

A board of scientists and experts selected six talented students to participate in the Olympiad after conducting tests and adopting transparent procedure. These students will be provided guidelines during the two months training period to participate in the competition in better way.

The science Olympiad competition basically comprises over three sections the first one experimental part, the second one theoretical part and the last part comprises of multiple choice Questions (MCQs).

International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) aims to positively impact science and mathematics education at school level over the years.

The ultimate result of this science competition is to boost the natural science interest among the students and to build their career in the respective field as a “Scientist”. IJSO competition also provides a golden platform to the students to introduce the students at a young age to an international network of science enthusiasts.
