STAFF REPORT IBD: PTCLs Smart TV (the IPTV service) has witnessed a 30 per cent increase in subscriber base mainly due to the content enhancement and improved service quality.
“Bundled deals coupling Voice with DSL and IPTV marked PTCLs resolve to encourage the usage of high-end services,” reveals a recently published report by PTCL.
PTCL has introduced a new Smart Pack package which is a bundled offer of 256Kbps Broadband data rate with Smart TV in addition to its existing Broadband data rate packages. The new package is offered to the customers at Rs.749/month with unlimited download. The existing customers can also avail this package but they have to pay one time charges of Rs.1500 as downgrade charges.
The Smart TV bundle offer include access to 100 + digital quality TV channels, freedom to pause and rewind live TV programmes, library of 500 video on demand, 24/7 service availability from PTCLs side, said that release.
The access to free movies, music, classical Pakistani plays, famous cricket matches, educational and religious contents exclusively for PTCL broadband customers on Buzz broadband web infotainment portal.
The service offer Parental control on TV channels and video on demand.
