STAFF REPORT LHR: The Quaid-e-Azam Solar Energy Park is going to produce 100 MW electricity through solar energy which would contribute significantly to minimizing the energy shortfall in the country which is facing severe energy shortfall for the last several years.

This was briefed to Federal Minister for Commerce Khurram Dastagir Khan by Project Director (PD) Abdul Jabbar during his visit to Quaid-e-Azam Solar Energy Park here.

The project director said that the park is being constructed on 10000 acres land and will be able to cater the energy needs of the country as well as Bahawalpur Region which is 225 MW. Boundary wall of the park is under construction while 10 kilometres lengthy road to the park has been completed, he added.
