STAFF REPORT KHI: Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA) has recently organized a technical training course on Good Standardization Practices.


On the occasion, Pir Bakhsh Jamali, Director General, PSQCA, highlighted the importance of good standardization practices and stressed the need for ensuring international participation.


He asked standards developers, academia and Industry to work jointly to realize the economic benefits by following the international standards. Moreover, he asked to organize this kind of training courses on regular basis particularly energy management system and other market oriented topics.


Earlier, Dr. Barkat Saeed Memon, Deputy Director General (Finance), in his opening remarks advised all participants to actively involve in the training courses.


Khawja Gulam Mohiuddin, Deputy Director PSQCA, highlighted that this Authority has provided the platform at national level for the exchange of ideas and best practices among stakeholders and shows commitment towards sustainability on Good Standardization Practices in Pakistan. More than forty participants were attended the training course.
