STAFF REPORT FSD: The participants of 18th mid-career management course from the National Institute of Management Karachi have recently visited the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry in connection with their study tour.

During their visit, FCCI President Engineer Suhail Bin Rashid gave detailed presentation on the role of Faisalabad in the overall economic growth of Pakistan, and said that textile was the main stay of national economy.

He also said that only few industrialists had shifted their units abroad due to the acute shortage of energy and deteriorating law and order situation in the country. However, most of the industrialists have patriotic approach.

“We are also collaborating with Governor Punjab Chaudhry Sarwar to install water filtration plants to ensure clean drinking water to the deprived segments of the society,” he added.
