Govt ready for spectrum auction by June


STAFF REPORT ISB: The government is all set to hold auction of remaining spectrum by the end of June, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority Chairman Dr Ismail Shah announced.

During a ceremony held at PTA headquarters, he said that the authority was ready for more spectrum auction which is expected to be completed by the end of June, 2016.

It will further enhance quality of cellular services in the country.

Waste water plant ready to operate


STAFF REPORT ISB: Secretary Ministry of National Food Security and Research (MNFSandR), Seerat Asghar has recently visited the Bio-remediation Waste Water Treatment plant established at Rose and Jasmine Garden in Islamabad.

The plant has been jointly constructed by Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) and Capital Development Authority (CDA) with an aim to clean the sewerage water of the city and use it for green belt that will help to save drinking water.

Korean bank ready to finance technology park


STAFF REPORT ISB: The Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) has been directed to establish an "interactive communication portal" to ensure an effective liaison with over 100 IT companies already registered with the Board.
