Farmers given free fertilizers, low-priced veggie seeds


STAFF REPORT MULTAN: The Punjab government has provided free fertilizers and pesticides besides vegetables seeds at low price to farmers for cultivation of vegetables at 687 demonstration plots in the province.

Pakistan 4th biggest user of Bt cotton seeds




STAFF REPORT ISB: Bt cotton is being cultivated on 83 per cent of the total sowing area under the crop in Pakistan, which the fourth biggest user of Bt cotton seeds in the world.
