Telenor joins hands with KP gov for IT education


STAFF REPORT ISB: The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has formed an allegiance with Telenor, the premier telecommunication company of the country in order to introduce Information Technology (IT) to primary schools. The purpose of the collaboration is to promote ICT education at grass root level to hone for innovation and technological change.


According to the Ministry of Education, KP sources the provincial government and the Telenor group will provide 15,000 Tablets to KP primary schools.Telenor representative apprised that community service and promotion of IT infrastructure and innovation are one of the focal areas of the company and working with various public and private sector organization for IT uplifting gives them the opportunity to attain their certain objectives and keep the tradition of innovation nurturing alive.
