UAE don't have security concerns to Huawei’s 5G tech

The US along with some other countries have been blaming that Huawei’s 5G using spy technologies in their products not only in the smartphones but also in the 5G equipment and others.

That’s why before using this or that technology, service, or product offered by this company, they conduct a survey.

The United Arab Emirates have no allegations on using Huawei’s products. Recently United Arab Emirates telecommunications company chief technology officer (CTO) Saleem Albalooshi reported that “we did not find any proofs of security concerns about Huawei’s 5G technology”.

He further said in view of security perspective that “Huawei is our partner in developing our 5G network. we have our own labs in the UAE. we have not seen any evidence that there are security holes specifically in 5G after testing in labs”.

US gave warning its partners for not using the equipment of the Chinese company because these devices have security risks. However, Huawei has repeatedly denied the US allegations in return.

United States Federal Communications Commission Chairman Ajit Paibai visited Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain. He said that “the United States will stop sharing information with them if they are used Huawei’s 5G equipment”.

Alabooshi answered him by saying that “this is definitely a matter but such a thing is the government’s decision. We follow our government’s orders as we are governed by the regulator”.
