STAFF REPORT KHI: Utam Rahwani has been awarded the Best Karachi Section Volunteer of the Year Award 2014 by IEEE Karachi Section at the Annual General Meeting at Sunset Club, DHA, Karachi.
Utam belongs to village Malanhore Vena of District Tharparkar. He currently is studying at the Hamdard Institute of Engineering and Technology, Hamdard University, Karachi.
He joined IEEE as student member in year 2013. In 2014 he was elected as General Secretary, IEEE HIET Student Branch. He won $60 under MGM award programme for his efforts during membership year 2014. Utam chaired an event of IEEE Karachi Section named as IEEE TISP (Teacher in-Service Program) training workshop held at HIET, Hamdard University on December 3, 2014.
