STAFF REPORT LHR: The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahores Faculty of Life Sciences Business Management has recently organised a two-day training workshop on “Commercial Dairy Farm Management” in the city.


As many as tirty-five professionals from various public and private organizations participated in the workshop.


Vice-Chancellor UVAS Prof. Dr Talat Naseer Pasha chaired the concluding session of the workshop and distributed certificates among the training participants.


Speaking on the occasion, the Vice-Chancellor said that such type of workshops were necessary for knowledge sharing and skills development of dairy farm professionals.


Earlier, Dean Faculty of Life Sciences Business Management Prof Dr Nasim Ahmad spoke about the objectives of the training workshop.


He said that main objectives of the holding the workshop was to enhance training of the veterinary personnel of the province, so that they could play an effective role in nurturing farm management skills on a wider scale.
