Wapda win 7th national men’s archery championship

After a thrilling competition, Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) won the 7th National Men’s Archery Championship.

More than 500 archers are up for the title win in the 7th addition of National Archery Championship which starts at AL-NADI AL-BURHANI Sports Complex in Karachi.

WAPDA beat the defending champion Pakistan Army in the 3-day championship held at Karachi to clinch the title. Besides winning the team title, Archer Abdul Rehman stood victorious in the individual event of the championship.

Participants from all over Pakistan are to emerge in Karachi after they all have gone through tough qualifying rounds of trials in their cities.

As many as 10 teams participated in the national championship namely Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Punjab, Sindh, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, Army, Customs, Police and Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority.
