STAFF REPORT LHR: The Vets Care Club of the University of Veterinary and Animals Sciences Lahore has observed the World


Veterinary Day in Lahore. A walk was arranged to mark the day and create awareness about the welfare of animals in the


community.


Dean Faculty of Life sciences Business Management Prof. Dr. Nasim Ahmad led the walk while Prof. Dr. Sarwar Khan, Prof Dr


Habib-ur Rehman, Prof Dr Anila Zameer Durrani, Prof Dr Asim Aslam, Prof Dr Masood Rabbani and a large number of


students and faculty members were participated. The walk started from the Vice-Chancellors Office and culminated in


outdoor hospital after taking a round of the city campus UVAS Lahore.


Speaking on the occasion, Prof Dr Nasim Ahmad spoke about the importance of animal welfare and urged the faculty


members and students to work for this noble cause. He also lauded the Volunteers effort of Vets Care Club for the uplift of


veterinary profession through their various healthy indoor and outdoor activities for the veterinary studies.
