Zong 4G celebrate International Women’s day

 In a bid to highlight and celebrate the unprecedented achievements of female employees, Pakistan’s No.1 Data Network, Zong 4G commemorated International Women’s day , on 8th March 2019, with great zeal and fervor in all offices across Pakistan.

Motivating the employees in all spheres of life, prominent speaker and psychotherapist Ms. Asmat Jaffer delivered a motivational and informative session emphasizing the importance of work- life balance and stress management techniques. She was accompanied by Ms Rahat Shigri and Ms. Sabina Sani, two professional counsellors focused on improving the societal issues. Furthermore as part of the celebrations and the commitment of promoting employees’ physical well-being along with mental health, Zong 4G in collaboration with renowned hospitals distributed health vouchers to the female employees, encouraging them to make health a priority.

Speaking at the occasion, Ms. Wang Haibo, Chief Human Resource Officer, highlighted that “At Zong 4G, our gender inclusive policies and practices are empowering women for maximizing their potential and helps them realize their career ambitions. Zong 4G takes pride in providing equal opportunities of employment, development, advancement and leadership for its female staff across the country. We aspire to provide a workplace where our employees can maintain their unique identity and create a balanced team to lead the digital revolution across Pakistan.”

The theme for this year’s International Women’s Day is ‘Balance for Better’ in acknowledgement of the achievements of women around the globe, while advocating and calling urgent action against the need to accelerate gender parity in all walks of life.
